In the Post Obama election era, starting over is now something millions are all thrust into.
If you have lost your job (or are about to) you must re-invent yourself. If you are a business owner, you must look at new ways of doing business. If you are a spouse or parent, you must be aware of their needs in a new a scary world. If you are new to starting over, it can be frightening. This post and others to follow will hopefully give you the guidelines you need to take some of the fear out of "Starting Over".
Here are a few of my thoughts on the subject: (I would appreciate yours)
- STOP what you are doing now (at least the stuff that is NOT WORKING!)
- THINK! When you get through this rough spot (and you will) you will look back and say "why didn't I think of this sooner"
- QUIT chasing mystical dreams and START following correct principles
- Faith without an Action Plan is not faith
- Begin at the END
- Be willing to DO WHATEVER IT TAKES
- Focus like a laser on Adding Value to other peoples lives (good things will follow)
- Get really good at being GOOD.
- You have NOT YET MET the people who can help you the most (Salespeople know this)
- WITMITICDATM = What Is The Most Important Thing I Can Do At This Moment
- The only certainty in life is CHANGE
- Forgive and Forget
- Keep the Main Thing the Main Thing!
